Our MISSION IS TO support local beekeepers here in the whitsundays with both beekeeping and integrated pest management products and solutions.
We are focused on organic and SUSTAINABLE treatments to support bee health, POLLINATION AND THE PRODUCTION OF RAW, UNADULTERATED HONEY.
WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF beekeeping being as natural as physically possible AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PROTECTING OUR POLLINATORS FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.
My Beekeeping Journey:
It all began with a simple fascination about Bees, so I studied basic Beekeeping in New Zealand, and built and managed several hives in Hawkes Bay, on the East Coast of the North Island.
Since moving to the The Whitsundays, I started with a couple of hives in my garden, and now have several hives in the area.
Over the years, I have learned a lot but the bees will always keep teaching us.
Today, the main focus is trying to maintain healthy bees in the challenging times of the Varroa Mite infestations.
There's still a lot for us all to learn and all fellow Beekeepers should all be supporting each other in every way we can.
